Argon is a non-toxic, odourless gas that

• prevents appearance of the condensate
• increases energy efficiency
• increases sound proofing characteristics of the window

Krypton gas is used, as an Argon gas, for the energy efficiency purposes.

Krypton gas has higher density and viscosity in comparison with Oxygen and Argon, which leads to the increased heat resistance.

Krypton gas is usually used in narrow insulated glass units, Argon gas is mostly used in wider ones.
